Donelle Cronin
She brings a unique combination of healthcare and
community experience to the Board of Education.
During her tenure as a retired nurse, she established a health
club to promote student wellness and healthy habits.
Donelle currently is a licensed real estate salesperson, serves on
the Amityville School District Hiring Committee and is the
President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Amityville, continuing her
long-standing commitment to service and community leadership.
She is a 40 year resident and a dedicated mother of three who is
committed to serving her community.
A former RN BSN retired nurse of 21 years, Lamaze instructor,
CCD instructor, pre-Cana moderator, soccer coach and assisted
her husband during his 10-year tenure as coordinator of St.
Martin’s CYO program, further strengthening her involvement with
local youths and families.
With first-hand experience in schools and an understanding of
student well-being she is committed to fostering a safe learning
environment and ensuring fiscal responsibility and thoughtful
decision-making for the benefit of all students and taxpayers in
the Amityville Community.
Mrs. Cronin was responsible for the wellness, safety and care of 700 students on a daily basis.
